Candy Buttons (part 2)

Ok...so they don't look like the original candy buttons, smooth and round, but I think they turned out pretty good for my first try.  The icing was thicker then I think it was supposed to be so instead of them laying flat when I piped them out they kind of turned into little kisses - oh well...they are going to be a great addition to the old-fashioned sweet shoppe at Atticus' birthday party!! 

P.S.  I sent this picture to a friend and she had no clue what candy buttons were...clearly I'm showing my age...wow!
