11 Months

Atticus- you are ELEVEN MONTHS OLD!!!!

What are you up to these days?

You weigh 20 pounds

You wear a size 3 diaper and wear 9-12 month clothes

You will just about eat anything and we are exploring new foods every day - you really like Boar's Head Maple Turkey like your momma and you still really love peas!!

You are sleeping 12 hours at night.  You take a morning nap which is usually about an hour and then a good 2-3 hour afternoon nap every day.

 

You are EVERYWHERE!!! You spend all day crawling, standing, getting into everything and exploring. You are a busy boy!

You love to sit on the kitchen floor and play in the bottom island drawer - we moved all the tupperware to that drawer so you could pull them out and play...

You have 5 teeth - Daddy calls you "Draculus" right now because you look like a little vampire with your top teeth. Your not crazy about this whole teething thing, you think it's for the birds!

You love to put things in buckets - we've taught you to say "goal" when you drop them in...of course it sounds like "oal"... It's so cute!

You are very vocal! You say "da-da" and "ma-ma" and you've almost got "uh-oh" down. You've also just started saying "up" when you want to be picked up.

You are very social. You want to look and talk to everyone you see. When we are at restaurants - you completely turn your body around to stare at whoever is sitting near us. It mortifies me sometimes. Thank goodness you are cute. ha!

You like to play peek-a-boo and give "high-5's".

You LOVE your walker - you can really get up some speed in that thing!!

You are cruising around the coffee table and on the living room furniture.

You LOVE bath time. You have started putting your face down in the water like you're trying to drink it.  You love to splash and play in the bubbles!

You love music. We bring you into the sanctuary at church with us during the worship portion of the service because you love music so much - you've got great rhythm and try to sing along! 

 

I CAN NOT believe you will be a year old in a month. This has been the most amazing year of my life.
