8 Months

Atticus you are EIGHT months old today!!!

What are you up to these days?

You wear 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers.

You are a little thing but a GREAT eater. You eat three meals a day - fruit and cereal for breakfast, a fruit and veggie at lunch and a fruit, veggie, and cereal at night. You also snack at least once a day on fresh fruit, peas or black beans.  Today we gave you watermelon for the first time and you loved it!!  You also take three 6oz bottles during the day and one 8oz bottle at bedtime.

You take two naps a day, morning and late afternoon...and sometimes we sneak a little cat nap in right after lunch.  You are sleeping 11-12 hours straight at night. You go to bed at 8 and wake up between 7 and 8am.

 

You like to say "mmmmm" after every bite you eat - I think it's your way of saying, "this is good stuff, give me more!.  It's just so cute. When we go out to eat it takes you a looooong time to eat because you're so interested in watching everyone around you, you're quite the socializer!

You love to look around at people and you will just stare. You are so curious about everything.  Your favorite way to inspect things is to put them in your mouth.

 You're a pro at sitting up like a "big-boy"!  You love to sit in the front of the cart at Target and the grocery store.  You're a little rolly polly, we can't leave you on our bed or you might roll off!

You still love the jumper - it's by far your favorite thing to do...jump, jump, jump!

 

You love to babble and make noise and you are SO loud. You talk all the time - you've recently developed a high pitch squeal that makes you really happy!

You don't have any teeth yet, but you are definitely teething...it won't be long!

 You have the cutest personality. I literally can't get enough of you - I will never kiss you or hug you enough.

You love to swing - you always start laughing on the way back towards me, it's soooo sweet!

Your hair has slowly started to come in this month and it's blond. You have the most beautiful blue eyes. They are so big and round.

You have stayed in the nursery three times and have done very well each time. 

The first year of your life is just flying by! I can't believe you are only 4 months from being one year old!!! You are the best thing that ever happened to your momma and daddy! We love you SO much!!!
