Atticus and I went back down to Florida for a week and had an incredible time. This was Atticus' first time on an airplane and he did awesome! He was so excited to meet the pilot and to look out the window but his favorite part was getting his wings!!!! This was definitely the way to travel...only an hour and 5 minute flight compared to 9 hours in the car....it's really a no-brainer :) !
Here are a few highlights from our trip.... We ate lots of great food, including a trip to one of my Florida favorites, The Columbia ( I had their famous 1905 Salad with Shrimp...delish! And I also ate my weight in cuban bread!! Atticus and Nana were inseparable...whether it was collecting shells, sharing ice cream, or having water fights, these two were laughing and smiling together!!

We found a Kilwins fudge and ice cream parlor....yum!!!
I took this picture the first morning we woke up at the beach...he was beyond excited to open the back door in our room and be able to walk out directly onto the sand. Rise and shine at the beach!!
This was the view I had for much of our time at the beach....Atticus and Poppa were digging for all kind of little sea and sand creatures. Great memories together!!
Atticus was a pro at the beach this time around. He loved playing in the sand and surf...chasing birds, making footprints, and building sandcastles! The water was beautiful and the water was the perfect temperature!!!

One of the reasons we went to Florida was for my uncles wedding....it was on the beach at sunset, very beautiful. The night before the wedding everyone went to dinner together at The Columbia on St. Arminds Circle - perfect setting!

After dinner we played putt-putt golf with a few of my cousins and their sweet kiddos. Atticus showed Rachel and Jake how to get a hole-in-one!!

Reception...time to dance!! Atticus was on the dance floor the entire night!!! He was quite the entertainment and people were amazed at his rhythm :)
