One Month Check Up

Today we went to the pediatrician for Atticus' one month check up (he will actually be 5 weeks tomorrow, but they didn't have an appointment last week - I figure he'll be one month for the entire month so I didn't think this had to be posted on his exact one month birthday).

He was such a trooper considering he got his Hep B shot today...I think it might have been worse for me than it was for him. He cried (more like screamed) when the nurse pricked his thigh but as soon as Aaron picked him up he was ok - what a champ!

ONE MONTH STATS:

• He weighs 8 pounds 10 ounces which is the 17th percentile
• He is 20.5 inches which is the 11th percentile
• His head measured 14.5 inches

The doctor also said that we are cleared to leave the house!! Yeah!! He wanted us to stay in a few extra weeks since it's flu season and he was so little. We've got lots planned for this week - I know he is going to love visiting Target and Starbucks just as much as I do :)
