For the past three years Aaron and I have sort of created our own family tradition of going out to eat for Chinese food on Christmas night... It started one year while we were living in Arkansas...we ended up in the ER with Atticus on Christmas Eve day because he had a very weird reaction to some medicine and so we were all mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted and had no desire to cook! We decided that after having a much more eventful holiday that we had imagined we would just run out and get some Chinese food. To our surprise the restaurant was packed!!! I guess not many places are opened on Christmas Day...so options are limited. Anyways, it became a new tradition and each year we give thanks that Atticus is a strong healthy and happy little boy and enjoy some yummy dim sum!!! This year we invited our good friends to join us and as in years past, the restaurant was hopping and we had a great night!
After dinner we went back to our friends house so the kids could play with each others new toys...they always have so much fun together! (Atticus with Maya and Issac).
We headed to Atlanta after Christmas for a few days with my side of the family! It was wonderful and I'm already looking forward to when we can be together again!

We spent one day at The World of Coca-Cola...so much fun! We went with my aunt Debby (she works at Coke) and my cousin Kimberly and her little boy Jake.
They say Coke = Happiness and I can see how that may be true sometimes, but making a hug with my sweet mom and precious baby boy = happiness for me!
A must-see at the World of Coke is this big guy...the Polar Bear! He was hilarious!!!
Atticus' favorite part of the tour was watching the machines bottle the coca-cola! He was glued to the glass as "Fizzy Bot"(the yellow robot) filled the glass bottles with "happiness"...
Atticus was also glued to Jake...he wanted to do whatever Jake was doing and go wherever Jake was going!!!
Thank goodness Jake was a good sport :)

THE VAULT!!!!
This is where they keep the secret recipe for coca-cola....these folks are serious! It used to under lock lock and key at a downtown ATL bank but when the new World of Coke was built they moved the secret recipe here...

This was another one of Atticus' favorite spots on the tour...a camera took your picture and then recreated your phot with bubbles!

Last on the tour was the tasting room...Atticus has never had coca-cola before so I thought what better place to try it for the first time than at The World of Coke!!!! They had coke products from around the world that you could sample...many I've tried before and many that aren't available in the USA...including the most talked about, most disgusting, most nauseating, Beverly beverage from Italy - it seriously tasted like carbonated NyQuil, it was awful! This was Atticus having Gingerbread Coke (it was surprisingly tasty!!!!)...and just FYI, this was a one time thing, he's not drinking coke on a regular basis now.
We stayed at my Aunt Debby's house, played games by the fire and watched lots of football!
