Sweet Home Alabama

The amount of heartache and grief that Alabama (and several other states in the South, including towns just 15 miles from us) have been going through for the past week is unfathomable. So many people have lost everything- not only tangible items, but also family, friends, and loved ones. Please continue to pray for the victims and survivors of these storms, their family members, the schools and communities that have been demolished, the volunteers, and the thousands of people helping with disaster relief.  We have several family members that live in Tuscaloosa that were amazingly spared from any damage, but they have multiple friends and co-workers that had severe destruction so please keep them in your prayers.

 I love this song by Casting Crowns and it automatically comes to mind when I think about these vicious tornadoes.  No matter what your storm is, praise HIM!
