Surgery & Stuff

Earlier this week Aaron had hernia repair surgery...this is our patient getting ready to head into surgery!  Doesn't he look great rockin' the hair net?!!? 

Aaron's parents came over for a few days while he recovered and they were a big help!  Plus, they got to spend time with Atticus, I promise he didn't get spoiled at all...Ha!

Of course we had to take Grandad and Grandmom to the park and show them how Atticus can swing like a big boy!

We played in the backyard with the bubble machine - always so much fun!!

We watched the birds splash around in the bird bath - isn't he beautiful???  It was so sweet!

We also have some pretty talented squirrels that live in our backyard and they will do anything to get the bird seed out of the bird feeders, just look at this acrobat!

One of our favorite things to make for dinner is homemade pizza...Aaron is a pro at pizza dough tossing, even in his post-surgical condition :)  We simply top it with fresh basil from the garden and mozzarella cheese, so delicious!  We bake it on our Pampered Chef pizza stone, a must-have for homemade pizza, let me know if you need one!!!

Aaron's supposed to take it easy for the next few days but he and little man can certainly still play and laugh!  They have such a good time together!

It was a great few days with family, now Aaron just needs to fully recover so we can go see Mickey!!
