Halloween Night!

It's become our tradition to go over to the neighborhood where most of our friends live and trick-or-treat with them.  We make a few stops at our immediate neighbors houses before we head out because they always want to see what Atticus is dressed like, especially this year since the newest kid on the block was part of his costume...Scout.
Did you count the number of Elsa's in that picture???  Just in our small group of friends there were FOUR girls dressed up like Elsa...no wonder we had snow on Halloween night!!! :)
Atticus was a pro at trick-or-treating this year...and I'll admit, it's SO MUCH EASIER to trick-or-treat when they're his age verses years past.  They can get up front porch stairs by themselves, they don't run into the road...the only downside....they know which candy is the "good candy" (AKA, the chocolate!!) so they're a little less excited to share with mom and dad.
Here come the men in black....
The SWAT team and Darth Vador (he ditched the mask after the first house!)
It was hilarious listening to these two talk the whole night...about candy, costumes, the special powers their costumes gave them and how they didn't like all the girls dressed up like Elsa!!!
They were super excited to get to this house before all the other kids in our group because they could ring the doorbell....apparently that's pretty cool!
Once we got home we emptied his bucket on the counter and went through all his loot!  He got lots of candy of course, but also got some non food items like pencils, flashlights, erasers, glow sticks, stuffed animals, and play dough.  We ate a few pieces of candy and then called it a night....
And then after too much candy we were making silly faces!!!!
What a fun night with my best buddy!!!
