Happy Halloween everyone! We had alot of fun celebrating all the festivities that go along with this silly holiday...including dressing up and saving the world!
HAVE NO FEAR, SUPER ATTICUS IS HERE!
After receiving this monogrammed super hero cape for his birthday,
Atticus decided that he wanted to be "Super Atticus" for
Halloween...which I thought was totally appropriate, considering how
SUPER of a kid he is!
His class had their party and costume parade during school on Thursday. I was there all day setting up for the party and shuffling all the various classes in and out during their appointed party time. Here he is with all of his classmates and teachers....with maybe one or two actually looking at the camera :)
Coming into the PARTY!! Super Atticus, Isaac as Jake & the Neverland Pirates and Davey the Giraffe...
There were several games: Mummy Bowling, Spider Snatching, Witch Hat Ring Toss along with a spooky story and a few minutes of "freeze dance" to some kickin' Halloween tunes!
And what's a party without food???!!!! These little skeleton cupcakes were my favorite!
All of the classes in the school did a costume parade for the parents....it was hilarious!!
See those awesome boot covers he's wearing?? My sweet MIL helped me make them...well, she actually made them and I just stitched the star on the side - THANK YOU, it was the perfect addition to his costume!
I was so glad that I was able to be there and party with him...he was too!
Me and my Super Hero!
After school we came home and crashed...this super hero needed a nap! Before we headed out to trick-or-treat with friends, Atticus showed me some of his super moves....and they are quite fantastic!
Ok, time to hit the streets!!!!!! We met up with lots of friends so the kids could all be together - they had so much fun and we laughed and laughed at the crazy things theses sweet kids did in their costumes!!!

By age four, we've discovered that he's got this whole trick-or-treating thing down pretty good. He even says "thank you!".... Knock Knock Knock....the homeowners could barely get their doors open :) Up they go and back down they come with their loot!
Watch out - Super Atticus is on a mission...and it involves chocolate!!!
He scored big at this house.... A whole BAG of candy, a flash light, and fruit snacks!
Good thing he got the flashlight when he did....it was just starting to get dark so Super Atticus used it to light the way!
It was a super fun night with our super sweet super hero!
Now...to get rid of all this candy and get it out of my house!!!!! Who wants it, come and get it...except for the Heath Bars....those are mine!
